All Black Outfit For Fall
I feel like it’s been ages since I did an outfit post, and looking back, it truly has been! Aside from my wedding looks, I haven’t shared a dedicated outfit post in over a year… Whoops. Well, thanks to the arrival of Autumn and all of the great fashion that comes with it, I’m back and I have multiple outfit posts lined up and ready to go!
First up is an outfit I’ve been wearing all Summer with a couple modifications—this look is perfect as we transition from warm days to cool nights! The blouse is lightweight and airy, and during the warmer months I used a black short sleeve blouse, instead. I also swapped my sandals and rattan bag for some black mules and a black leather bag to complete the monochromatic look and take the outfit from Summer to Autumn.
I’ve been wearing this Gigi Pip hat on repeat, since I got it, and am truly obsessed. I’ve been updating my hat collection, as I really wanted to own higher quality hats, and I currently own two in this Gambler style. The upturned brim feels like an elevated take on a traditional wide brimmed hat, and also feels a bit more petite which is perfect for my petite self!
As a petite, the monochromatic look works extremely well for me. It creates one long line from head to toe, with little to no breaks. As someone who stands at just 4’8”, I will take all the help I can get in creating a taller silhouette, while still embracing what I have to work with. These black jeans are also a favorite item of mine, and come in petite sizing which, to be honest, is not easy to find! I wear them all year long, but especially as the weather cools. They’re soft and comfortable which, let’s be honest ladies, is also hard to find in jeans!
Do you have a favorite Summer look you’re transitioning to fit the cooler temperature? I’d love to hear about it!
